Unfortunately, on the day of the race, it was raining, so we could not use the solar panel. Our vehicle ran off the sidewalk we were racing on, so we did not win. We didn't test it as a boat for fear of water getting in through the bottom and ruining our vehicle, but it was one of the few that somewhat succeeded at the uphill challenge (albeit slowly).
