Followed this tutorial by Vimeo user Creative COW for most of this project: he explains how to create the base and text, as well as the glass globe, adding images, and the snow effect.
Images used for the snow globe and background.
The snow globe composition in After Effects. Includes the composition for the base, the image in the snow globe, the snow effect, and the blue circles for the glass ball.
The final iteration of the project in After Effects. A background was added and the snow globe placed in front. A camera was used to zoom in on the snow globe using transformation keyframes.
